Improve your Home Environment

by tomboesen on November 14, 2009

Check out these results from a Harvard Medical School research study that show ways of improving your life in and out of the home.

  • Flowers result in an increased amount of compassion.  In less than a week of living with fresh cut flowers participants felt an increase of compassion and kindness.
  • Flowers help eliminate anxieties, worries and depression.  In a matter of days participants felt less negative feelings when around flowers.  They placed them in the areas of the home where they frequently gather.
  • Flowers can increase energy and excitement.    Having flowers in your home not only improve your mood there, but the feeling of happiness actually carries over to work as well.  Flowers at home caused participants lives outside of the home.  How great is that?

You really wouldn’t believe the impact of flowers.
