Another interesting fact from the Rutger’s study I’ve been telling you about is what it means to give flowers rather than receive. They discuss how what a person gives says a lot about them. Those that give flowers apparently viewed as “successful, caring and emotionally intelligent.”
What does this mean?
- Men and women who give flowers are viewed as happy, achieving, strong, capable and courageous.
- Men and women give the impression they can effectively express their feelings and take time to understand the feelings of others.
- Female floral gifters are viewed as more appreciative of beauty and nature.
Your not just making someone else feel better, you are actually making yourself look better.
