Notes of Gratitude

From time to time, we like to share the wonderful and thoughtful letters, notes and pictures we receive from satisfied customers who have taken the time to write to us.  Here are just a few from our community:

Tom, On behalf of the Serra Club of Des Moines, I would like to thank you for the donation of the beautiful long-stemmed roses that were given to the nuns at our Sisters’ Appreciation dinner on the 22nd.  It is such a nice gesture as we show them our thanks for their ministry over the years. –Jean Heger

Tom & Frank – Many thanks for the helium and flowers for the auction! You are ALWAYS so kind and generous.  We appreciate you so much! –Beth, Holy Trinity State Fair 2012

Tom and staff:  On behalf of the state of Iowa, thank you for your assistance with the visit of Vice President Xi Jinping, the Vice President of the People’s Republic of China.  We specifically appreciate your help with the flowers for the welcome dinner in Vice President Xi’s honor on February 15th.  When Vice President Xi first traveled to Iowa in 1985, he recalled the warm hospitality from Iowans, and we know that through your help, he felt this warm hospitality again during his visit earlier this month.  Thank you again for your help in making this historic visit a great success!  -Sincerely, Governor Terry E. Branstad & Lt. Governor Kim Reynolds

Via email:  This message is to express the appreciation for the consultation with me and the creation of a beautiful funeral arrangement by Jane Albee.  She listened carefully to the description of the wife of the deceased and the style of arrangement that I was considering.  She provided information on how the arrangement would look in the surroundings, which flowers would stay fresh longest, and how to combine different flowers for a lush, appealing arrangement at a reasonable price.  The arrangement was beautiful and the family and friends very much appreciated it. –Darlene Brickman

Tom & Frank, Each resident at BDCC got a blooming plant!  A few of the residents at Martina Place, too!  Thanks for your support – 16 years in a row!  1997 was the first year – time flies!  -Thanks again, Dan Mallory

We love reaching out into the community and helping where we can, brightening someone’s day, or making their special occasion that much more special – and we thank you for giving us the opportunity!
