“Wow, Sandra was fabulous and so helpful and went out of her way to be accommodating, understanding and made everything run smoothly.” – Margo
“What I regret about planning my wedding is the time it took to find a florist! I began the process wanting to use a local florist, because I heard through the grapevine that corporate florists aren’t very personable..I also heard that they don’t always use fresh flowers for the occasions…Let me tell you that all stuff is BUNK! I wasted too much time visiting with local florists, who were great, but their prices were wayyy too high, and their business was limited. As soon as I sat down with Maya from Boesen, I was immediately put at ease. Not only are Boesen’s associates personable, but they know exactly what they’re talking about! If you’re on a budget, Boesen will really come through for you. I knew what kind of flowers I wanted for my wedding, but I had no idea for the decor. Maya was full of suggestions that really catered to my vision for the perfect wedding…and she probably didn’t even know it. Many local florists will only do one wedding per weekend, so getting to them as early as possible can be a bit stressful. You don’t have to worry about that with Boesen! In April 2007, when I told Maya that my wedding was on July 7th, 2007 — I was expecting her to tell me that they were completely booked. BUT, she told me they would be able to accomodate me with no problem. They did 21 weddings that weekend! So, don’t waste your time shopping around! If you’re in the Des Moines area, just go to Boesen!” – Jennifer
“Beosen provided the beautiful flowers for my wedding march 10, 2007. I chose Pink roses with brown trim. They were so kind to make sure I had t he colors that I wanted. they had everything to me on the day ready and waiting when I got there with my bridesmaids. The were the right size and full of life. I loved my flowers.” – Nicole

Thanks for your Gratitude
I hope thus far everyone has had a wonderful holiday season. Christmas approaches and everyone is rushing for last minute gifts, decorations and food. Especially with this storm coming through the rush even seems a little more urgent.
I really wanted to first, thank you for your business this past year. Without you Boesen the Florist would not be Des Moines’ largest and preferred local florist. Second, I’d like to take a moment to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and especially a Prosperous New Year. As 2010 approaches I’d love for all of you to consider what Boesen the Florist can do for you during those special occasions that will be coming up. Whether it’s birthdays, Mother’s/Father’s Day, Valentines Day, Anniversaries or even just a special, random surprise, we’d love to be a part of your life next year as well.
If you’re in the need for any last minute floral arrangements for Christmas, we have an online coupon code, C09, for $5 off any purchase. Check us out at Boesen.com and I’m sure we can help you find what you need.
Again, I hope everyone stays safe during this Holiday weekend storm and I can’t wait to see you all next year!
Wishing You The Best,
Tom Boesen
